Transitioning to Natural Shampoo

Switching from liquid shampoo can take a little time. Your scalp may need a few washes to adjust as it rebalances its natural oils, which is completely normal. Try an apple cider vinegar rinse to help during the transition. Once your hair adapts, you’ll notice it feels softer, healthier, and full of natural shine.

Don’t worry if your hair takes a little time to adjust — that’s completely normal! Some people notice softer, shinier hair right away, while others need a week or two for their scalp to balance.

Use an ACV rinse (see below) every other wash for the first week or two, then reduce to once a month — or stop altogether once your hair naturally rebalances.

HOW TO MAKE: Mix ½ to 4 tablespoons of ACV with 8oz of water (adjust to suit your hair type — dry hair prefers less, oily hair likes more).

Less is more

Be patient

your hair may need time to detox from synthetic shampoos
